Open Drawing Sessions
Open figure drawing sessions will again be offered during the 2015-2016 academic year, beginning September 17th. Sponsored by the Department of Art and the History of Art, sessions are held 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays in Room 101 Fayerweather. Bring your own (non-oil-based) materials; there is no other cost to join in. Open to students, faculty and staff, and the greater Amherst community. Last session of the semester will be December 10th.
Second semester sessions begin on February 10th and end on May 5th.
Parking: You may park on campus or in non-restricted lots after regular class hours (5:00 p.m.) unless otherwise posted by campus police.
The open figure drawing sessions are a cooperative venture: please respect the space and do not disturb setups that are so marked. Be aware that students in the classes may need to be in the room to complete class assignments. Please return whatever you move to where it was. If there are any problems with heaters, shades, etc., please let me know as soon as possible.
Fayerweather Hall is located just off route 9, on the Chapin Quad. Campus Map
