Professor Emeritus Dr. Richard Goldsby Presentation

Professor Emeritus Dr. Dick Goldsby presented a talk "The Biology of Race" on Tuesday February 18th, 2020, in Lipton Lecture Hall in the Science Center. Professor Sheila Jaswal moderated a Q&A session after the talk. The talk also inspired a spontaneous reunion of the Biology Department:

Jeong Lab at GRC Conference 2019

In July 2019, Professor Jeeyon Jeong attended the Cell Biology of Metals Gordon Research Conference in Castelldefels, Spain, with two thesis students from the 2018-2019 academic year, Emily Park ’19 and Leah Kim ’19. This Gordon Research Conference was a small gathering attended by around 170 scientists specializing in the field of organismal biology of metals.

Jeong Lab at ASPB 2019 Conference

This August, Kaitlyn Tsuyuki ’18 attended the 2019 meeting of the American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB) in San Jose, CA on behalf of the Jeong Lab. Thousands of plant scientists—students, academicians, and career scientists alike—gathered in the South Bay to attend an extensive series of talks by scientists from all over.

Jeong Lab Attends the ASPB 2018 Conference

In July 2018 the Jeong Lab attended the annual conference of the American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB). The ASPB 2018 Conference was co-hosted by the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists (CSPB) and the International Society of Photosynthesis Research (ISPR), bringing Professor Jeeyon Jeong, her entourage of seven students, and thousands of plant biologists from around the globe to Montreal, Canada.
