Note regarding English 66 committments

Participating in English 66 will require mandatory attendance at two special events at The Amherst Cinema Arts Center , on the weekends of October 20th and October 27th (specific times and days TBD).

Both events will feature discussion with people involved in the making of each film-- that's the special part!:

The first event will be screenings of two films by Charles Burnett, My Brother's Wedding and his masterpiece, Killer of Sheep.

The second event will include screenings of Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke .

If you are not available these dates, please consider another class this semester.

Enjoy the weekend!

Prof. Parham
