For this week, I want us to think about the difference between memory and narrative.  Which one develops first?  What does narrative possess that memory does not?  How does this different relate to the way memory/narrative helps formulate our presonal identity?  I also want you think about which of the models we read about this week are stage models (like Eriksen's model of psycho-social development) and which are not.  What do you think explains the differences between the various models with regard to discrete stages?
