Write a paragraph about one of these three scenes, in which you either pressure a single moment or two, or discuss the role of the scene in the novel.   Do not waste any sentences summarizing the scene; I'm looking for good, sharp, reading.

Scene 1:   Henry James and Tito bury Constance's clothes in the lagoon (pp. 252-55, beginning with "At five Tito was waiting...").

Scene 2:  Hendrik Andersen and Henry James discuss their next projects (pp. 286-88).

Scene 3:  Alice and William James tell Henry about being in touch with the spirit of his mother (pp. 300-303, beginning with "After lunch the next day" and ending at the break on 303).
