Students frequently tell me that they learn better by 'seeing' rather than by 'hearing'. Other students claim the opposite. There is a literature on this issue, but let's pretend that it does not exist for now. What is your experience with claims like this? Do you feel that you fit into one of these categories? What evidence do you use to place yourself in this category? Has anything that you read about STM or Working Memory influenced or validated your belief in different types of learners?
