The Chem 11 final exam will be given Sunday at 9 am in Merrill 1. We will be offering the follow office hours and Q/A sessions - NOW UPDATED WITH LOCATIONS - to help you prepare for the exam:

Thursday

-     SSJ Office hours 10 - 12 (Merrill 504)

-     Q Center drop in 2-4 (Q Center)

Friday

-     KAM Office hours 11 - 1 (Merrill 517)

-     SSJ Q/A Session 2-4 (Merrill 3)

-     Q Center drop in 2-4 (Q Center)

-     Casey's TA help session 4-6 pm (Merrill 315)

Saturday

-     KAM Q/A Session 5:30 - 7:30 (Room Merrill 3)

Our lecture TA, Casey Silver, will be giving a quiz prep session Sunday, from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in Merrill 315 (note the change from the usual time!!).

Welcome to Chemistry 11!!

  • Our first class meeting will be lecture on Wednesday, September 8 at 10:00 am in Merrill Lecture Room 2.
  • Because Monday classes are held on Wednesday the first week, discussion sessions will also meet on Wednesday at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm. Check your schedule for your discussion time and location.
  • Labs will NOT meet this week. Our first lab meetings will be the week of September 13 and will include Check-in and an introductory experiment. You will receive a laboratory manual and notebook for use this semester. Do NOT buy a lab notebook.
  • The textbook we will be using this semester is S.S. Zumdahl, Chemical Principles, 6th ed.
  • The syllabus and additional course information are posted under the Syllabus link at left, and will also be available in class the first day.
