Throughout the semester we will be using these pages for a constant stream of thinking together through writing. Everyone in the class is expected to enter a substantial comment at least once for each syllabus segment and to comment on a classmate's comment at least once each syllabus segment.
We will post a question or topic at the beginning of each segment, and will perhaps add other questions as our discussions progress.
To add a reflection go to the "subpage" for that syllabus segment and click on "add" at the top of the page. Then choose "Article" and type whatever you want to say into that box. It is possible to upload files as well, if there are things you want the rest of the class to see.
To comment on a classmate's post just click on the "comment" link under each entry.
For this first week click on the phrase "What is Community?" on the menu to the left and enter your reflections on that page. By February 1st we will be at "Grassroots," etc....
