Students interested in pursuing graduate work in economics are strongly encouraged to take mathematics courses beyond Math 11 (Intro to Calculus), and to discuss course options with your advisor. Specifically, such students should plan on taking Math 12 (Intermediate Calculus) and Math 21 (Linear Algrebra) or 22 (Linear Algrebra with Applications) [Math 21 and 22 were formerly Math 25], at a mimimum, and ideally Math 13 (Multivariable Calculus) and 28 (Intro to Analysis) in addition.
