On Friday, March 25, the first seven Amherst College seniors to major in Education Studies presented research projects in a two-hour capstone symposium. Their topics were as follows:

- Carley Malloy: “Doubly Removed: Bodéwadmi Reclamation, Remembrance and Return.”
- Ronin Rodkey: “Understanding Bronx Science: Re-Framing the Debate Around New York City's Specialized High Schools”
- Molly Sanderson: “Feminism and Fractions: A Feminist Math Workbook”
- Alondra Saucedo Espinno: “Immigration and Educational Resources”
- Diana Tiburcio: “Challenging and Redefining College Readiness at Passaic High School”
