Before meeting with your advisor during Advising Week/Pre-registration, please make sure to fill in your Major Requirements Form INCLUDING the classes you are taking this semester. This will help you and your advisor plan and choose classes and track your path through the major.
You can access your Excel form at any time through the Google Drive home page, either from the “Gsuite” tool on the Amherst website or simply through the Google homepage. Your form will appear in your “Shared with me” drive and is easily found by searching for “Major Requirements” or your name.
You can view your transcript on ACData and fill out each of the sections on the form with information from your English classes. Either transfer what you have on the ACData transcript to the form or copy and paste the information from your transcript for each section. Your advisor will help you with questions about classes taken abroad or outside of the Amherst English department.
