C3 Summer Fellowship Application Deadline
The Creating Connections Consortium (C3) is launching the summer research fellows program at the University of California-Berkeley and Columbia University this summer. This program is a major part of C3, a partnership to strengthen diversity and innovation through enhanced interactions between liberal arts colleges and research universities. The benefits of the C3 summer fellowship include mentored graduate-level research opportunities in the Arts, Humanities, and Social and Physical Sciences, GRE preparation, a substantial stipend, campus housing, and transportation.
The C3 Summer Research Fellowship is open to all current sophomores and juniors of LADO (Liberal Arts Diversity Officers) member institutions. These C3 fellowships will allow a total of 12 LADO undergraduates to be fully funded and supported this summer. However, there is speculation that more than twelve may be admitted, based on the quality of the applicant pool.
While this application is open to all students, students from the following backgrounds have been strongly encouraged to apply: students from historically underrepresented groups, and/or first generation college students or others who pursued paths to college with exceptional talent and motivation in the face of adversity, such as societal, economic or academic disadvantages.
The application deadline is February 22.
