Currently I’m involved in several major research projects, and each of these offer opportunities for student involvement, either in the summer or during the school year. These projects include:

Cliffs of Mohir
Ireland—examining the paleohydrogeology of western Ireland, in order to reconstruct the climate of the Holocene.
Michigan Basin
Michigan basin—studying how microbes have produced economic quantities of methane from 350ma old Devonian black shale.
St Lucia Piton
St. Lucia—assessing the microbiology and geochemistry of hydrothermal springs; and to examine early marine diagenesis.
