Course Evaluations Fall 2019

End-of-semester evaluations for Fall 2019 courses taught by non-tenured History faculty (and by any 5-College History faculty with a home campus other than Amherst College) will be posted here and opened for student responses starting at 8am on the last day of each course and closing at midnight on Friday, December 20, 2019. Evaluations for Fall 2019 courses taught by tenured Amherst College History faculty are administered directly by IT.

The evaluation form for each course here will only be visible to students enrolled in that course. Students will need to log in to see the form and information on when the form will be opened and closed. Please contact Carey Aubert, the Academic Department Coordinator for the History Department, if you experience any problems with the online course evaluations.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience in your course. Teaching is highly valued at Amherst, and your reflections are an important part of our efforts to assess and improve our teaching. Please be thoughtful, fair, and honest. Your instructor will be able to view your responses only after final grades have been submitted, and to them your identity will be anonymous. As part of the reappointment, tenure, and promotion process, your responses will also be read by the president, provost and dean of the faculty, and other senior faculty, and to them your identity will not be anonymous.
