"Genius" composer, singer, theatre artist meredith monk performs at amherst college oct. 20
AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst College Department of Music announces the continuation of the 2012-13 Music at Amherst Parallels Series with a concert by Meredith Monk on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. The concert takes place in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College. Tickets are free, but required; seating is by general admission.

The performance is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
Amherst College jazz ensemble, choral society and symphony orchestra announce family weekend concerts oct. 26 and 27
AMHERST, Mass.—The Amherst College Department of Music presents concerts by the Jazz Ensemble, Choral Society and Symphony Orchestra on Oct. 26 and 27 in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College. The Amherst College Jazz Ensemble performs on Friday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m.; Amherst College Choral Society performs on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 12 p.m.; Amherst Symphony Orchestra performs on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are required for all three concerts and will be available for purchase at the door.
