“In the chamber music world, they are rock stars,” says The New York Times. And as if that were not enough, cellist David Finckel, recently retired from the Emerson String Quartet, and pianist Wu Han are entrepreneurs and tireless advocates for new works, new artists and world-class performances as directors of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Named Musicians of the Year at Musical America’s 2012 awards, this extraordinary husband-and-wife duo join Music at Amherst for an evening of “Russian Reflections” featuring works by Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Scriabin and Rachmaninov.

“America’s power couple of chamber music.” --The Wall Street Journal
