The Amherst College Department of Music presents a concert by the Amherst College Concert Choir on Saturday, April 22, at 5 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College. The Concert Choir is directed by Mallorie Chernin and assistant director Hannah Goodwillie ’16. The performance is free of charge and open to the public; seating is by general admission.
The Concert Choir performs their senior concert, featuring music of Ireland and America. The concert includes the imaginative “Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine,” by Eric Whitacre. Also featured is music by Moses Hogan, Percy Hall, Anuna and the Wailin’ Jennys. The concert ends with the traditional "Senior Song."
