Music Choral Society Concert

The Amherst College Department of Music presents the 157th Amherst College Glee Club and Concert Choir directed by Dr. Arianne Abela in the Spring Concert entitled Acquainted with the Night.

The performance features four world premieres. Commissioned for their 50th reunion, the Glee Club and Concert Choir perform music by Amherst alumni Scott Wheeler and Paul Salerni, class of 1973, as well as world premieres of works by Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Music Eric Sawyer and Charlotte Shuyao Wang '24, with original text by Haoran Tong '23. Also on the program are selected senior favorites by Sydney Guillaume, Samuel Wright '23, Shawn Kirchner and more.

Doors open half an hour before the concert. Seating is by general admission.
