Saturday, March 4, 2023: The ASO opens with Symphony #3 in F major by Johannes Brahms and concludes with "Symphonic Metamorphoses on a Theme by Carl Maria von Weber," by 20th century modernist Paul Hindemith.

Friday, February 17, 2023: Gabriela Montero returns to the Buckley stage paying homage to three prominent Russian composers who immigrated to the West to escape oppression in their home country.

Friday, February 10, 2023: Presenting a celebration of Native culture through music and storytelling, the world-class musical ensemble is joined by storyteller and Washington State Poet Laureate Rena Priest.

Saturday, December 3, 2022: The ASO performs a concert of music by Georges Hüe, Antonín Dvořák and Pytor Illich Tchaikovsky. Two Amherst College seniors are showcased: Ashley Kim '23E and Taz Kim '23.

Friday, October 14, 2022: Blue Heron has been acclaimed as “one of the Boston music community’s indispensables” and hailed by Alex Ross for its “expressive intensity.” The ensemble ranges over a wide repertoire from plainchant to new music.
