May 7, 2022. Amherst College senior virtuoso Marie Leou '22 is soloist in the fiery Violin Concerto in D minor by Finnish master Jean Sibelius and the ASO closes the season with the monumental Symphony #1 by Gustav Mahler ("Titan").

Brian Martin is the composer of "The Faro Shuffle,"  the 18th piece composed for the Amherst College Jazz Ensemble as part of the ongoing composition series named after Robin McBride '59.

The Choral Society presents Everlasting Voices, a concert featuring music by Amherst student Sam Wright '23 and by Sydney Guillaume, Shawn Kirchner, Arianne Abela, Shireen Abu-Khader and others.

Beethoven's 7th Symphony and senior soloists: Cameron Chandler '20, Hannah Goldberg '22, Cece Hong '22, Shuzo Katayama '22 and Majd Rouhana '22 perform solo works by Weber, Mozart, Reinecke, Korngold and Hoagy Carmichael.
