 how to talk about. His primary body of work\, The Healing Project\,\nis an
  extension of the political commitments that Samora has held\nthroughout h
 is life and work: abolitionist\, anti-capitalist\,\nanti-colonialist\, int
 ernationalist\, pro-Black power\, intersectional\,\nrevolutionary. Pinderh
 ughes has been known in the music world for a\nwhile now as somebody who i
 s fiercely committed to the fight for\nliberation\, and as somebody who go

DESCRIPTION:For the finale of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra's 2024 spring 
 season\,\nthe ASO tackles the behemoth Third Symphony of Gustav Mahler.  
 This\nwork takes the audience on a philosophical as well as musical journe
 y\,\nfrom the primordial soup of Earth's depths to the highest pinnacles o
 f\nhuman love.  With an enormous orchestra\, six movements\, two choirs\n
 and an operatic soloist\, Mahler's maximalist masterpiece is an\nuplifting
  celebration of \"What the World Teaches Us\" and a triumphant\nculminatio
 n to the season.  Ann McMahon Quintero\, a leading\nmezzo-soprano with Bo
