AMHERST, MASS. – The Amherst College Department of Music presents a spring concert by the Amherst College Jazz Ensemble on Friday, May 3 at 8 p.m. in Buckley Recital Hall in the Arms Music Center at Amherst College. The concert is free and open to the public; seating is by general admission.

The performance includes music of Kris Berg, Julian Miller, Amherst College Associate Professor of Music Eric Sawyer, Director of Jazz Performance Bruce Diehl, Thad Jones, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, and more. It marks the final concert for Julian Miller ’13, who has played with the ensemble for all four years of his Amherst career. The ensemble will be celebrating Miller and other seniors.
