Sika Essegbey '23 created the most recent Mid-Year Spanish Department newsletter.  Read below! 

In the past Caroline Seitz '22 created the 2022 newsletter, Javier Whitaker-Castaneda '21 created the 2021 newsletter and Hubert Ford '20 created the 2019 and the 2020 newsletter.  These newsletters share our Senior Majors, our Juniors studying abroad as well as other department happenings.

“Nuestras Voces” Event Uplifts Bilingual Voices

On Wednesday, April 13, 2022 16 students presented poetry, videos, and art for the inaugural “Nuestras Voces” (“Our Voices”) event. In both English and Spanish, students spoke about topics including connection to home, the value of names, and gentrification of neighborhoods. See the full article here!
