The Department of Theater and Dance presents Performance Project, an evening of original student works. Costume design by Lorelei Dietz and lighting design by Julian Brown ’23 and Sterling Kee ’23.

STRIPPED, by Mary Chase Jourdian (HC '22), seeks to explore the dichotomy between the body and mind. They delve into the disconnect and power imbalance that can occur between the two by presenting them as two figures: The Dominatrix (mind) and The Submissive (body). An original score written and recorded by Jourdian accompanies the piece.

Rebecca Masland Schrader (AC '22E)’s Embryo, a live, interdisciplinary performance, explores the feeling of aliveness in the body, the struggle to express emotion and our ability to transform.
