 New Course information to be entered in Course Catalog Editing Tool with chair approvals obtained.

Spring 2023 Course Information due to Registrar

 Departments submit their course information on the Campus Planning Interface (CPI) part of the EMS reservation program. This includes classes, instructors, times, and room preferences, if they have them. Info for new courses can be shared later.

Midterm Grades due to Registrar

Faculty must submit midterm grades for students earning a D or F via Workday.

Thesis Advisor Names due from Academic Departments to Registrar's Office

Updated thesis advisor information must be sent to the Registrar's Office for Seniors via Google Docs.

Friday, October 21

Last Day to withdraw from the College 

This is the last day that students may withdraw from the College for a semester or more. Students should work with the Office of Student Affairs to withdraw.

Comprehensive Exam Date for Class of 2023E

Departments should hold Comprehensive Exams for second semester seniors by this date.

Class of 2023E students must submit their electronic theses in Submittable Academic Departments will also submit summa recommendation letters in Submittable. Due by this date.

Students may elect, within Workday, to take a course on Pass/Fail with their advisor(s) consent.

First Day of Spring 2023 Classes; First Day of Add/Drop; First Day of Five Colleges Interchange Registration

During add/drop students may add or remove courses from their spring schedule. Students must be in their minimum course load at the end of add/drop. Students may only add or remove Five Colleges courses during the add/drop period.

Departments to edit courses via the Course Catalog Editing Tool regarding Fall and Spring offerings. Information includes instructor, semester offered, updates to description, title, and course restrictions. All courses should be moved to "Department Chair" regardless of offering status.

Registrar's Office prepares CPI 

Course information entered into CPI for departments to be able to add course times and room requests.

Monday, February 20

CPI will open in the afternoon.

ADCs begin editing

Information from course catalog editing tool to be uploaded to CPI. ADCs can begin entering course times and room preferences.

CPI closes for editing

First round of course times and room preferences ends.

CPI 2nd Round

 CPI opens for ADCs to make additions and corrections to course times and room requests. Closes 5pm on March 1st.

Students who will have their degree conferred in Fall 2023 and wish to participate in May 2023 Commencement must submit the Application to Participate in Commencement by this deadline. Students who participated in a prior Commencement ceremony may not apply to participate for a second time. Watch for details.

Seniors are asked to submit their graduation information to NameCoach

Deadline for Class of 2023 and 2024E seniors to submit information to NameCoach regarding their data for graduation.

Prize winner names to the Registrar for the Senior Assembly Awards Ceremony.

Departments must submit the names of senior class prize winners to the Registrar's Office by this date.

Awards for non-seniors are given out at this event.

Major Declaration due for Class of 2025 to avoid Fall holds

Second Semester Sophomores should submit their major declaration form to the Registrar's Office by this deadline to avoid Fall hold. Forms can be sent accompanied by department approval via email, listing the name of the new advisor.  Please notify current advisor of change.
