Global Education Office

Receiving this hold indicates you have not completed the evaluation for your study abroad or domestic study program.  Please call x5691 or email geo@amherst.edu if you have any questions or if you need the evaluation link re-sent to you.

Controller

Receiving this hold indicates you still have a balance outstanding on your student account, loan or payment plan.  Please review the details of this balance on your student account statement on your Workday profile. 

Please handle payment by one of the following means:  Overnight Mail:  Amherst College, AC#2500 Keefe Campus Center, Attn: Student Accounts, 16 Barrett Hill Dr., Amherst, MA 01002.  Electronic Payments:  Payment from banking account (“e-check”) or by credit card is available online at www.amherst.edu/go/payment.  Should you have further questions regarding your account, please contact the Student Accounts Office (studentaccounts@amherst.edu) at (413) 542-2811.

Financial Aid

This hold indicates your Amherst College Financial Aid application remains incomplete. Please log on to the online 'NetPartner' system to view the status of your application to determine what materials are outstanding. Use the following link to access this system: amherst.edu/go/faportal. Your username and password are your Amherst College username and password. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Financial Aid office at 413-542-2296. You may also visit the Office of Financial Aid in the basement of Converse Hall, room B-5.

Health Services

This hold indicates your Entrance Health Records are incomplete.  Please contact the Health Center at 413-542-2267 and a Medical Assistant will inform you of what is needed to meet the registration requirements.  Or you may visit the Keefe Health Center on College Street. 

Registrar

This hold indicates that you are missing either a transcript, your grades are incomplete from last semester, or you need to declare your major.  If you are missing a transcript from an educational leave or a make-up course, please contact the program to have an official transcript sent immediately.  If you are missing a grade please contact the instructor and ask him or her to submit the grade ASAP.  It may be that you need to complete a course evaluation. If that is the case, please contact the department coordinator for the course department.
