Faculty who wish to hire an academic intern for the summer must apply by Friday, April 12. As a reminder, academic interns are available only to our full-time tenure-line and visiting faculty.

Due to budget constraints, funding is guaranteed for one intern per faculty member only. Funding for a second intern who works remotely will depend on budget considerations and is not guaranteed. Please be aware that, due to housing constraints, a second intern must work remotely.

As of December 22, 2023, the student employment office will require job requisitions to include full details of qualifications and responsibilities. The application has been updated to meet this requirement. Please review the full changes to the student employment policy here.

Interns must work 40 hours/week to qualify for campus housing and meals. Remote interns must work in MA or CT, or at a field-site. Exceptions require approval from the provosts office.
