"I feel as if this experience has broadened my horizons by allowing me to grow more independent and confident. Traveling and living in a large, bustling city like Buenos Aires definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. It made me a lot more comfortable with being by myself and doing my own thing. I also feel like academically I've learned a lot that I would not have learned at Amherst. Whether it was in my classes or just talking to locals, I felt like I was always intellectually stimulated because there was so much to learn about their culture. After living there for four months, I feel as if I have a better understanding of Latin American culture. "
