CIEE Cape Town: Arts & Sciences

The Arts and Sciences program at the University of Cape Town is approved; students must petition the Service-Learning program.  You must receive credit from Spelman College, the school of record for CIEE programs.  Students are strongly encouraged to live in the residence halls with African students or in a homestay.

Amherst expects students to take at least one language course while on the program.  Students can opt to take a language course through UCT or through the CIEE Study Center.
