Students who wish to conduct research abroad may submit a proposal to Middlebury to receive a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Aided students interested in Mellon funded research during the semester should consult with the financial aid office.

The School in Russia has sites in Irkutsk, Moscow, and Yaroslavl.
