This program is hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University.  You must receive credit from the University of Rochester, the school of record for IES.

Financial aid students studying abroad for the fall, spring, or full year in China or a Chinese-speaking country should consider applying for a Chia Fellowship. Chia Fellows are funded to spend the summer in a Chinese-speaking country on an approved internship, research, or other study abroad program.

Language pre-requisites:

None required; students with prior Chinese language experience will be placed accordingly after taking a placement exam upon arrival.
