The Rothberg International School based at Hebrew University offers many options for study abroad students. All students are required to take the Ulpan course held prior to the start of the semester. Ulpan is not creditable at Amherst since the College does not award credit for orientation courses. Students must take a full schedule of courses during the semester - including one Hebrew language class or a class taught in Hebrew.
Students should consider the following programs at Hebrew:
Dance Jerusalem at Hebrew University
Students take courses at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and at the Rothberg International School at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The program is fall-only (with the semester ending in early January) or students may go for the full academic year.
