With U.S. regulations now relaxed, non-Sarah Lawrence students are able to apply for this program under the Sarah Lawrence College educational license to study in Cuba.
Students take four courses: Spanish, two electives and a core seminar course. The core course is offered through Centro de Estudios Demográficos (CEDEM), a unique research center at the University of Havana. The course explores Cuban society through the lenses of gender, health, education and sustainable development. One of the two elective courses can be at the University of Havana.Language pre-requisites:
