Middlebury School in Uruguay: Montevideo
Montevideo, UruguayMiddlebury School in Uruguay: Montevideo
Based in Montevideo, students enroll directly in one of three host universities and take classes alongside Uruguayan students. Montevideo is a few hours from Buenos Aires and a city of 3 million people - a great alternative to Buenos Aires for a student who wants an urban experience but with less study abroad students and tourists.
Please note that Spanish majors who want to receive the full three possible credits from study abroad for the major will only study at the Universidad de la República, where literature classes are taught.
Students who wish to conduct research abroad may submit a proposal to Middlebury to receive a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Aided students interested in Mellon funded research during the semester should consult with the financial aid office.Language(s) of instruction available: Spanish
