Amherst College releases admission decisions online via an applicant's secure, online ACData account. Applicants will receive an email several days in advance of the decision release date to provide details about how to access the online decision notification. All admitted students will also receive a hardcopy version of the letter of admission through the mail. All other applicants will receive a hardcopy decision letter only upon request to the Office of Admission.
First year applicants should receive their online decision notifications around mid-December (for Early Decision) or the first week in April (for Regular Decision).
Transfer applicants should receive their online decision notifications around mid-December (for Spring semester transfer) or the first week in May (for Fall semester transfer).
