Dr. Harold C. Haizlip ’57 Lecture

Dr. Haizlip and his wife Mrs. Shirlee Haizlip spoke about their amazing lives during and after college. Dr. and Mrs. Haizlip co-authored the book In the Garden of Our Dreams: Memoirs of Our Marriage. Dr. Haizlip is the founder of ASAP (After School Arts Program) at Los Angeles’ BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow). Mrs. Haizlip is the author of numerous books, including The Sweeter the Juice: A Family Memoir in Black and White, Finding Grace: Two Sisters and the Search for Meaning Beyond the Colorline, and Not Without Laughter.
