Dean Behren's List:
- Organization for Tropical Studies, Duke University: Global Health, Costa Rica http://www.ots.ac.cr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=339&Itemid=467
- School for International Training Study Abroad has several programs for their "global health" category: http://www.sit.edu/studyabroad/select_region_theme.cfm?theme=GH. Not all are on the approved list, but could be petitioned. Students should e-mail Dean Behrens for more information about this process.
- DIS/University of Copenhagen (http://www.dis.dk/study-abroad/programs/) has some interesting health-related tracks for their study abroad program, but students need to be careful to only take liberal arts courses, since some of the courses offered are too clinical/pre-professional.
- University of Haifa in Israel has an Honors Program in Psychology (http://overseas.haifa.ac.il/page.asp?id=53&a=a3&b=b1). Students interested in mental health/public health would find this a very stimulating program; it includes an opportunity to do fieldwork similar to SIT, but alongside Israeli students also in the program.
