Artist Statement:
Photography allows me to combine my interests in people, travel and history.
I began to photograph in high school and found out that I had a natural talent to create good pictures. It wasn't until after college and several years into the work world that I also discovered it was the best way for me to communicate. For me, photography combines both the internal and external.
As I have evolved as both a commercial and fine arts photographer, I have found that it has allowed me access to many different types of people and experiences and that I have been able to share those experiences with my images.
Type of Art: Photography
Advice and Insights: Follow your passion. It is important to know when to follow someone's advice and when to follow your intuition. Experience and practice help make this easier to discern.
