Alexander Fleiss ’05, Jeremy Newton ’07 and Jonathan Sturges ’05 are three of the four officers of three-year-old Rebellion Research, a New York hedge fund they founded that has been using a “machine-learning program” to invest in stocks. Stories about the firm and its principals have appeared recently in The Wall Street Journal and the Kalamazoo Gazette.
