Enjoy coffee, drinks and dessert as Bryn Geffert talks about transforming an academic library in the face of radically new means of producing, disseminating, acquiring, finding, and preserving information. He will speak about the library's efforts to teach research skills (including the design of research seminars), to produce scholarly information in sustainable and equitable ways (the Amherst College Press), and to preserve born-digital information. Under Bryn’s leadership, the Frost Library was awarded the Excellence in Academic Libraries Award in 2015 and has become a hub for research and innovation among students and faculty.
