Please join the artist, who will speak and answer questions about her work. Also attending will be fellow Amherst alumnae and alumni Sima Griffith ’82, Laura MacLennan ’84, Sarah Mason ’05, Tom Owens ’74 and Bobak Razavi ’03. Join us as we view the new series of unique monoprints Swiszcz has created at the Highpoint Editions printmaking studio. The artist has mastered the art of shining a rose-colored spotlight on the everyday with her playful style. Swiszcz turns mundane suburban scenery into jewel-toned landmarks in her multimedia artistic practice. For the artist, “creativity is a path to finding moments of beauty that can happen anywhere,” even in a strip mall.

Parking: The Highpoint building has entrances on West Lake Street and at the rear of the building, accessed via Colfax Avenue South, where several dedicated parking spaces are located. Street parking is available throughout the Uptown neighborhood.
