The MSO will perform Harmonium the first weekend in March. The composer chose three poems by Emily Dickinson and the Reverend John Donne for this contemporary masterpiece, so with the Belle of Amherst imagining "Wild nights, wild nightsohn Adams's ," we thought this would make a good winter outing! Harmonium has special significance for MSO Music Director, Edo de Waart, who commissioned and premiered this work and debuted it with the San Francisco Symphony and Chorus.
