Our Amherst Club is partnering with Mujeres in conjunction with Amherst Caring Together (ACT), a community service and engagement program for Amherst Associations, to help paint their office space. All supplies will be provided. Mujeres Latinas en Acción, a bilingual/bicultural agency founded in 1973, is the longest-standing incorporated Latina organization in the nation. Mujeres has a comprehensive array of social services and advocacy initiatives that promote non-violence and leadership development. Programs are designed to lead clients on the road to empowerment--from crisis to leadership -- focusing on domestic violence and sexual assault intervention and support, homelessness prevention, positive parenting and youth and Latina leadership development.

Friends and family are welcome!
We will celebrate our service afterward with refreshments at
Simone's Bar and Grill
960 W 18th
Chicago, IL 60608
