Forsley the founder and co-owner of Shipyard Brewing Company. He began his career in food and beverage while at Colby as both a bartender and waiter at the Silver Street Tavern in Waterville. Thirty-three years later Bruce is still serving up interesting malted beverages to his many friends and acquaintances. Along the way he also developed a passion and knowledge for fine wines, and he owned (and expanded) that same Silver Street Tavern. For the last 19 years, Bruce and his cousin Fred Forsley have taken a small crew pub in Kennebunkport and turned it into a thriving regional and national presence in the craft brewing world.
