The Zumbyes were formed sixty-three years ago by eight freshmen who were more interested in Jazz than in traditional collegiate repertoire. Today, a Zumbyes concert is more aptly called a show - a performance constructed around musical excellence as well as irreverent humor. The New York Times called the Zumbyes "the most dangerous a cappella group on the planet."

The Bluestockings is a stellar women's a cappella group at Amherst College. The group's unique, soulful sound has been a staple of the Amherst a cappella scene since 1989. Based in a mutual passion for music and friendship, the group fosters exceptional talent and camaraderie amongst its members every year.
