Written and directed by Jonah D. Ansell '03, Cadaver is a crossmedia love story, brought to life as an animated short film and graphic novel for adults.  Starring Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd, teen fashion icon Tavi Gevinson and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates, the award-winning story tells the tale of a cadaver who wakes up to say a last goodbye to his wife but discovers a truth in death he didn't know in life.  It's been described as "Shel Silverstein meets Edgar Allan Poe." The film is co-produced by Timothy Hahn '06 and Art Directed by Eric Vennemeyer '04. Vennemeyer also served as one of the illustrators of the graphic novel (entirely hand-drawn with Sharpie markers) -- bringing the story to life with rich, intricate detail.
