D.C. - Alumni Hike at C&O Canal National Historical Park
Please join fellow alumni for a hike along the Billy Goat Trail, Section B of the C&O Canal. We'll see peak fall foliage and spectactular views of rock formations along the riverbanks of the Potomac River and Mather Gorge. Section B is the trail less traveled than the popular and more difficult Section A; we'll enjoy a gentle hike with minimal rock scrambling as the trail passes through the floodplain forest.
Hiking level is Moderate.
Total distance is 2.5 miles round trip.
