Business Attire

Ben Bradlee, Jr., (Colby '70) has written a new biography, The Kid: The Immortal Life of Ted Williams, to be published by Little, Brown on December 3, 2013.  It is based on extensive new primary research including exclusive access to Ted's private papers, and more than 600 interviews of former teammates, associates, friends and loved ones, dozens of whom are speaking for the first time.  The Kid is the most complete, revealing, and conclusive look at the life and career of one of the most complex baseball figures of all time. Before writing this book, Bradlee spent 25 years at the Boston Globe as a reporter and editor, including overseeing the Globe's Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the sexual abuse scandal in the Catholic Church. Ben is married to Janice Saragoni Bradlee '77.

Books will be available for purchase and autographing after his talk.
