Michael Kelly was named head of Archives and Special Collections at Amherst College’s Frost Library in 2009. Prior to his appointment, he served as associate curator of the Fales Library and Special Collections at New York University. As head of Archives and Special Collections, Kelly oversees the care and exhibition of the library’s notable collection of 50,000 rare books and archives. The collection totals about 25,000 linear feet and includes the literary papers of Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Richard Wilbur ’42 and Louise Bogan.
