Reunion chairs and other interested volunteers are encouraged to join Alumni and Parent Programs staff for a conversation on reunion planning best practices and suggested timelines. Bring your questions! Snacks will be available.

Please join the Resource Centers Team (RCT) for our annual Homecoming Reception and Open House. All five of the centers (Multicultural Resource Center, Queer Resource Center, Women's & Gender Center, Center for Diversity & Student Leadership, and Center for International Student Engagement) welcome students and returning alumni! Stop by each of the Centers and learn about the work of the RCT, meet the staff, hear about the resources and services we offer, and celebrate our amazing community at the College. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Ends at 5:30 p.m.

The Campus Activities Board Bonfire is a renewed tradition to bring the Amherst College community together in celebration of Homecoming weekend.

The Jeffrey B. Ferguson Memorial Teaching Prize honors the memory of an accomplished scholar and beloved Amherst College professor. The prize is awarded annually to two Amherst faculty members who see teaching as an art and vocation, engage in pedagogical innovation in their courses, have a significant impact in their department or program and on the broader curriculum, help students develop foundational skills in the finest liberal arts tradition, inspire students and colleagues alike to cultivate the life of the mind, and have a lasting impact on students’ intellectual and personal development.

Many student groups will be at tents and tables on the east end of Pratt Field, near the pedestrian entrance (Hitchcock Gate). Please stop by to connect with students and other alumni, and say hello! See the draft tent map.

Miss(ed) Asian Alumni day? Mingle with fellow Asian alums and students, enjoy catered food and beverage from your favorite local restaurants, and hear about what the Amherst Asian community has been up to! Students from all of Amherst’s Asian affinity groups—the Asian Students Association (ASA), Chinese Students Association (CSA), Korean Students Association (KSA), Middle Eastern and North African Association (MENAA) and South Asian Students Association (SASA)—will be in attendance. Join La Causa, Amherst's Latinx affinity group, for a reception commemorating the 40th anniversary of our José Martí Cultural Center and the student protest that led to it. Ends at 6:30 p.m Register for the reception!

Amherst College women of color alumnae and students are invited to join us for the Women of Color Brunch, organized by students and staff to celebrate our community.

The brunch will feature keynote speaker Adrienne White-Faines '82, MA, FACHE, in conversation with Ann Guo '20 and Camille Polk '21. White-Faines is a healthcare executive committed to improving health equity across populations, most recently serving as CEO of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), a national medical education accreditation and physician association representing more than 150,000 physicians and medical students in the US. White-Faines previously served as vice president and chief health officer at the American Cancer Society, Illinois Division, as a healthcare strategy consultant, and in leadership roles within prominent hospitals in Chicago and New York City.

All women of color, both cisgender and transgender, as well as our nonbinary siblings, are welcome to attend. This year's program will focus on forging connections, providing an opportunity for casual conversation and networking. Register for the brunch.
